Pictured: A detail of an 1896 picture of Dame Ellen Terry (February 27, 1847 - July 21, 1928) onstage as Imogen in Sir Henry Irving's Lyceum Theatre production of William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline," in a costume created by British painter Sir Laurence Alma Tadema (1836-1912). Irving and Shakespeare lived, respectively, 1838-1905 and April 26, 1564 – April 23, 1616.
